Anyone who knows me knows my genuine love for this balm (my lips especially do). You’ve probably seen or tried Starface’s iconic colourful Hydro-Stars – fan favourites of Gen Z skincare enthusiasts across the globe (myself included). These spot patches have paved the way for a growing acne positivity trend, allowing people to celebrate and feel more comfortable in their own skin. This element of self-confidence is present in the brand’s Star Balm, which promotes skincare as a positive indulgence. It was the packaging that first caught my eye – the bright colours literally popped off the shelf at my local Superdrug. Available in 10 flavours, including watermelon, vanilla and mango, there is something for everyone. Each balm is sheer when applied and leaves a lightweight, subtly shiny lip. I use mine as an accessory as well as simply a beauty product – I love the fun splash of colour my Star Balm brings, especially when I switch between flavours to match my outfit. My go-to balm is Magic Mint and as the name suggests, it definitely does smell magical and leaves my lips feeling squeaky clean.
